Regular School

The officially recognized «learn in» Regular School offers a time-out period for children and teenagers. The reasons for such time-out periods are diverse and can, amongst others, be results of learning difficulties or special incidents in the children’s social environment. The positive and empathetic surrounding supports the students to close their gaps in knowledge efficiently and this in individual as well as small group lessons. Return of self-confidence and learning success are the positive results.

Some teenagers may also be new in Switzerland and may need an intensive coaching within the first months, enabling them to get a good entrance into the local school system. Students, needing very special coaching, are, first of all, taught exclusively in individual lessons with the target to integrate them step by step into the small group classes.

Our teachers are specialized to evaluate suitable and individual schedules and learning methods for each teenager and to adapt them whenever necessary. They apply a multitude of brain conform learning techniques, concentration-, memory- and motivation trainings and are regularly further educated in these methods. The contents of the lessons are taught in small portions to keep it “well-digestible”.

Besides, our basic values “with competence and warmth” provided by the whole «learn in» team, gives a lot of support to the teenagers: Based on a motivating and intensive coaching in the individual lessons as well as in the small group classes, learning targets can be achieved much faster.

Very often, our protégés can leave the time-out situation and return to normal classes in other schools within only a few months or they may start an apprenticeship.
